Tooled Up Education creates evidence-based resources for parents and teachers on all aspects of parenting, education, and family life. When Tooled Up reached out, their platform was built in WordPress, with plugins to manage permissions, resources, and team members. UI was managed in Elementor and there was no design language in place. The technical limitations of the CMS alongside a new company strategy led to a full redesign, focussed on performance and functionality.
My design approach started with a research and discovery phase focussed on stakeholder interviews and workshops to better understand user needs and goals for the new site. I then followed up with a site audit to understand the current site structure and then worked on a sitemap to map pages and content.
